Come join William Houghton in an engaging and technically grounded presentation that introduces photographers to the art and craft of bird photography, with practical guidance tailored for enthusiasts of all experience levels. Participants will explore essential topics including understanding bird behavior, choosing effective camera bodies and lenses, mastering exposure and autofocus settings for fast-moving subjects, and using light, composition, and timing to create compelling wildlife images. Special attention will be given to photographing common species of the Texas Hill Country, helping attendees translate field knowledge into stronger photographic results.

William is a photographer with more than 25years of experience behind the lens, creating compelling imagery across a wide range of photographic genres. While he is best known for his striking wildlife photography and expressive portrait work, his versatility and technical skill allow him to produce strong visual storytelling in virtually any photographic setting.
