THE GREAT NORTH AMERICAN SOLAR ECLIPSE
“LIGHTS!, CAMERA!, TOTALITY!”
Often called a “Once in a Lifetime” experience”, it will be 20 years before another opportunity arises to witness a Total Eclipse in the Continental United States.
Our February meeting will be devoted to the discussion of the upcoming April 8th “Great North American Solar Eclipse”.
The presentation will cover Safety, required and optional Equipment, Camera Settings, and Tips to get that perfect once in a lifetime shot of a Solar Eclipse and its totality.
Leading the discussion and presentation will be Chris Nelson and Rob Knerr.

An Introduction to Macro Photography
Presenter, Patrick Dunn
An Introduction to Macro Photography covering concepts, techniques and equipment. Examples of images captured by Patrick Dunn will be included with explanations of how they were created.
And plan on attending a follow-up Macro workshop as our April program. Hands-on macro shooting, and helpful instruction.

February Photo Share – Moving Objects
The topic for February is “moving objects”. Last year the March topic was just “motion” and I gave a list of articles that talked about the many ways to capture motion. When I was thinking about this challenge for February, I was picturing the movement of one or more objects such as a spinning toy or the blades of a fan. I can imagine some of our members have more celestial ideas. No matter how or what you wish to photograph moving, please plan to give a brief explanation to the club of your intent or plan while capturing your images.
Photo Share provides a great opportunity to inspire each other. Thank you in advance for your participation!
