At the Hill Country Camera Club’s January 2025 meeting, Joe Houde will present “From Snapshots to Wall-Worthy” an exploration of the digital workflow that transforms everyday photos into wall-worthy art.  Joe will guide attendees through key techniques using tools like Photoshop and Lightroom, sharing tips on composition, lighting, and post-processing to bring out the best in their images.

This session is designed to help photographers of all levels elevate their work from casual snapshots to professional-quality prints.

Please state the titles of your photos in the text of your email.

Image size should be small enough to send by email – usually 1500-2400 pixels on the long side.

PHOTOSHARE TOPICS FOR 2025

February- Black and White – Focus on contrast, texture, and form without color.

March- Blue Hour – Explore the magical moments just before sunrise or after sunset.

April- Abstract – Play with patterns, colors, and shapes to create visually intriguing images.

May- Reflections – Water, mirrors, or glass—capture the beauty of reflections.

June- Wildlife – Show animals in their natural habitat, big or small.

August- Macro – Go up close and personal with tiny subjects or small sections of a subject to reveal hidden details.
