OUR CLUB, OUR FUTURE

“Town Hall Meeting” on Tuesday, May 14th
Despite recent events, our club is a vital entity poised to move forward to achieve our stated goals.
Our Town Hall Meeting will be an opportunity for all club members to help plan the future of our club, to fill the
vacant slots, and move forward with our dynamic and vibrant club. Support for volunteers will be offered in the
form of mentoring for all who step up to these positions and also for those who may offer to perform the
“small tasks” involved in running a club. There are some great Programs already “in the pipeline”.
With the support and spirit of volunteerism of our club members, we will be able to continue our stated goals
which appear on the front page of our WEBSITE: hillcountrycameraclub.org
“We are a group of amateur and professional photographers dedicated to photography as a creative art.
The goal of the Hill Country Camera Club, based in Kerrville, Texas, is to help educate others in the technical
aspects, the aesthetics and the art of photography, and to serve as a meeting place for people who share a
common interest in photography.”

JULY PROGRAM
“A RETROSPECTIVE:PHOTOQUEST 2011″.
ROBIN CLARK
In 2011, I was approached by the club to act as judge for that year’s PhotoQuest. The July program will take a look at several award winning photographs from that show and ‘pick them apart’ critically speaking. Discussion and/or Q&A time will round out the program.’
This piece was visually unified by a variety of textures…A solitary red garment hangs slightly off center, near the edge of the picture plane, amid several others that are nondescript”…serving as the focal point for the photo
