“GET YOUR CREATIVE JUICES GOING!”

Professor Conner will make a return visit to our club to kick off our year by introducing Alternative Processes such as Cyanotype, Encaustic, gold gilding, hand painting, etc. and ways in which we may use these techniques in a creative way to enhance and elevate our photographic works.

She will facilitate discussion and introduce illustrations on these topics, and demonstrate methods to enhance our own photographic imagery.

SOLAR ECLIPSE 2024 PRESENTATION

Join the HCCC for preparation training on the 2024
“Great North America Total Eclipse”. 

We will discuss safety, equipment, camera settings, and the timeline to
photograph and view this phenomenon. 
                                Often called a “Once in a Lifetime” experience”, it will be 20 years before another opportunity arises to witness a Total Eclipse in the Continental United States.

It’s January already and we will be having our first Photo Share of 2024 very soon (January 9th). The topic for January is “Inside the House”. I figure many of us would be completing our first of the year home projects as the new year begins, so why not use our cameras at the same time! Current members may send 2 topic images and one open image. Please label each image as house1.yourname.jpeg, house2.yourname.jpeg, and open.yourname.jpeg). Photo titles should be sent in the text of your email.
