“Blast from the Past”

William Houghton

Come join Dr. Robin Clark as she presents an interactive discussion and critique of Hill Country Camera Club Award Winning images

from past PHOTOQUEST EXHIBITIONS along with other photographic sources. She will lead discussions on the basic elements of composition, and other criteria which led to these images being selected for Awards by various judges over the span of many years. Audience participation will be encouraged.

Dr. Robin E. Clark, a Texas native, served 15+ years as a professor in three different states’ universities (PA, MI, ND). In 2005, Robin, twice-tenured with a PhD in Fine Arts from Texas Tech University, left her career in higher education and returned to Texas to more actively and intensely pursue her personal artwork. Although extensively trained in a variety of art forms, photography and digital imaging are currently her preferred media.  In addition, Robin has made presentations both nationally and internationally, as well as conducted a variety of art and educational workshops and lectures at state, regional, and local levels. Before entering higher education, she taught art, foreign language, and other content areas in the public schools of Texas and Michigan. Robin currently makes her home and studio in the beautiful hill country town of Kerrville, TX.
